Field-based oxygen isotope fractionation for the conservation of imperilled fishes: an application w

University of Waterloo and Fisheries and Oceans Canada PhD student Jacob Burbank develops a Oxygen isotope temperature question to help elucidate the realized temperature use of Silver Shiner within Canada under the supervision of Dr. D. Andrew R. Drake and Dr. Michael Power. Silver Shiner is listed as Threatened under Canada's Species at Risk Act. The tool developed here can be used to evaluate and better understand the temperatures occupied by Silver Shiner in nature, providing valuable information to help better inform species recovery strategies.
